Canterbury is approximately 40 minutes drive, Leeds Castle 30 mins, Battle Abbey 45 mins, Sissinghurst Castle gardens 20 mins, Great Dixter house and Gardens 25 mins, the other ancient Cinque Ports town of Rye 30 mins, Camber Sands 40mins.

Fast links to London from Headcorn station or Ashford International which also provides easy and fast links to the Eurostar and Eurotunnel. Gatwick airport is approximately 90 mins drive.

Tenterden also benefits from numerous local golf clubs, wonderful scenic country walks, a variety of historic and cultural venues. Tenterden leisure centre has a wide range of facilities to keep children and the sporty types content with tennis courts located close by. The world famous Port Lympne and Howletts zoo parks are within an easy drive.
